Human Centipede Banned In UK

The Human Centipede has been banned from release in the U.K. after British censors deemed the film "unacceptable" to be shown to the public. The biggest problem with Human Centipede was that it just wasn’t all that gross. With a premise like that, you’d better deliver the goods, and director Tom Six instead covered the goods in adult diapers and pantomime poop-eating.

The second installment has been banned in England after censors deemed the movie "unacceptable" for public consumption Human Centipede II Full Sequence is the sequel to last year’s Human Centipede, in which a mad doctor stitches together three victims to make the monstrous creation of the title. Since its release, the deranged nature of the first film has become fodder for many comedians Buyers and festival goers alike were turned away from market screenings of the controversial film during the Marche du Film in 2010.For that film the BBFC gave the uncut film an 18 certificate, allowing it to be shown in cinemas and eventually released on DVD.
