The SingTel website no longer has the price plans that offer an iPad 2 with bundled Home Broadband or Fibre Broadband.Currently, the only price plans left are the Mobile Broadband and Mobile MultiSim plans. Singapore Telecommunications the state's largest telecom operator, is putting two new ultra-fast broadband technologies on trial.
According to a statement issued by the company Monday, the Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) and the residential Metro Ethernet (ME) technologies will be tested in two local condominiums for six months. SingTel in Singapore and Australia's Optus only account for 12.4mn, the group's total was swelled by strong subscriber growth at many of its so-called 'regional associates' in which it owns minority stakes, notably Indian-based Bharti Airtel.
