Actress raped and killed in Chennai: Ashwini a small time actress was found dead on Friday in her house near Saidapet railway station in Chennai. The suspicious incident was alerted by her husband Sivanandam to police on Friday evening. With the evidences received by police from doctors is that, Ashwini was raped and murdered.”We are expecting the postmortem report and the forensic report based on the samples collected from the murder scene," a senior police officer said. Her body was shifted to the government hospital in Royapettah where an autopsy was conducted.
Neighbors said that they have observed Suresh coming to meet her when her husband was not there. Suresh was last seen in the lobby on his bike at around 12:30PM on Friday’s afternoon. Based on these evidences by neighbors, police team has tried tracking Suresh but his mobile is switched off. Hence, a special team was arranged in Suresh’s native village of Ponnur near Vandavasi.
