Goh Ken Yi


To Goh Ken-Yi, 37, he was a doting Ah Kong, or grandfather, who told him bedtime stories – sometimes falling asleep before the young boy did. ‘Being the spoilt child that I was, I would nudge him awake and he would always continue despite his own fatigue.The former student is alleged to be Mr Goh Ken-Yi, a 38-year-old banker, and grandson of the late former Deputy Prime Minister Goh Keng Swee.

The woman is now 54, and the court has ordered that the identities of the couple not to be released by the media. Goh Ken-Yi is 37 and a banker. He studied engineering at Cornell University, where he got a second degree in English literature. As Dr Goh's first grandson, he was the apple of his grandfather's eye. His three children are aged four, six and eight.
