Lady GaGa sued for £3m over wristbands

Lady GaGa sued for £3m over wristbands: Saturday Lady Gaga performed at a MTV Japan benefit show for the Japanese Red Cross. Lady Gaga is being sued for £3million accused of scamming fans and Japanese earthquake survivors by pocketing funds raised by her charity. The lawsuit, in which she is being sued for more than £3m, alleges that the wristbands are sold for $5 each and include shipping and tax costs meaning less than 10% would reach its beneficiaries. But obviously we don’t know how much of the detail Gaga herself is aware of.
She launched the charity shortly after the country was hit by the devastating quake and a tsunami in March, and urged fans to support it. But a Detroit-based law firm has now filed a 3.1million suit accusing her of not giving all the proceeds to the cause.
