Kung Fu Panda’s Mr Ping, James Hong recently won the Annie Award for his voice performance in “Kung Fu Panda Holiday.” As Po’s father, the goose Mr. Ping, James Hong the veteran character actor with more than 60 years worth of performances found the first film “awesome” without any thought of biology or parentage Kung Fu Panda 2 themed drive-in movie theater in their city. Players who place the theater will also receive collection items, members of Kung Fu Panda’s Furious Five Tigress, Crane, Mantis, Viper and Monkey. When all five items are collected, an exclusive Po the Panda statue will be unlocked and available to players as a reward for completing the Kung Fu Panda 2 quest.
Kung Fu Panda 2 picks up where the original left off, wherein kung fu neophyte master Po (Jack Black) finds himself taken with the story of his origins. He is, after all, a panda who was raised by a goose. Po is subject to flashes of his clouded past whenever he is confronted by the sign of the evil lord Shen, a deviant peacock voiced by Gary Oldman in a performance so deliciously evil I think it deserves an Oscar nomination more on that later.
